How to lose weight naturally


Have you ever wondered how to lose weight naturally? No crazy diets, no meal replacements, no shakes or pills, and no surgery? Just a rightness of mind that makes it easy to choose foods that are good for the body and soul, in portions your tummy was designed to digest?

When you really think about it, natural weight loss should be the most natural thing in the world to achieve. Because, quite simply, there is nothing natural about many of the foods we eat these days: packaged, processed, high sugar, and loaded with preservatives.

There is also nothing natural about the volume of these foods and drinks that we put in our bodies every day. If food is fuel, then we should not have to wrangle with our mind about eating that extra slice of cake. We should be able to feel when enough is enough.

Naturally allowing our bodies to let this “artificial” weight fall away so that our real bodies – however big, small, tall or short they may be – can shine through, is a beautiful and natural process in itself.

So what makes this natural process of weight loss so hard to achieve? Why is it so difficult to resist that piece (or block) of chocolate, and that glass (or bottle) of wine?

Your mind.

Your mind is a wonderful, intelligent part of your body that can also sometimes feel like an enemy because it is divided in two: the conscious and subconscious.

The subconscious mind is very powerful and picks up on everything the conscious mind says. Those messages sink down into your subconscious where they stay and become habit. If you try to change your life, your “new” conscious mind reacts to your trained subconscious mind, which can even make you feel sick to your stomach.

Our subconscious minds are programmed by our thoughts, which is why mantras are so effective. For example, I think “thin, vibrant, and healthy” or “I only eat 3 small healthy meals every day.” Repeated over and over again, these conscious thoughts start to become subconscious thoughts – and the conscious and subconscious can work together to create change.

How do you speak directly to your subconscious mind?
